YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri bin Mokhtar is the Menteri Besar of Terengganu and the State Assemblyman for Ru Rendang State Constituency in Terengganu.

Prior to his history of serving the state government of Terengganu, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri was Head of the Aeronautical Faculty at University Putra Malaysia as an Associate Professor with over a decade of experience as an engineering academician and researcher.

YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri holds a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds (UK) in Aeroengine Ignition and Combustion, High Altitude Engine Failure, from its School of Mechanical Engineering.

Tuan Haji Mazli Zakuan Bin Mohd Noor

Mazli is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM). He sits in a few Board of Directors of a public listed and private limited companies. Being an entrepreneur himself through few of his business ventures, Mazli is currently heading Menteri Besar Terengganu (Incorporated) (MBI), a state strategic investment arm.

An engineer by training, he is a Professional Member for Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPE) and Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Mazli also an Industrial Advisory Panel for an engineering faculty of a public university.

Mr. Muhammad Ramizu Bin Mustaffa

Muhammad Ramizu Bin Mustaffa holds the International Baccalaureate Diploma and a BSc (Hons) Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom. He is also a fellow of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants In England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

He started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen (which later merged with Ernst & Young (“EY”), Malaysia in 2000. He later joined ECM Libra Berhad before leaving Malaysia in 2004 to join EY, United Kingdom as an Executive, National Audit. His last employment in the United Kingdom was as a Manager, Corporate Finance of BDO, Reading, Thames Valley, England before returning to Malaysia to join KLCC group in 2010 as the Head of Corporate Finance & Account Services. In KLCC Group, he played key roles in various corporate exercises including the establishment of KLCCP stapled REIT.

Leaving KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd as the Head of Corporate Finance in 2014, he joined Sapura Resources Berhad as the Aviation Business Chief Financial Officer and subsequently as the group Head of Finance, Putrajaya Leisure & Services Group Sdn Bhd. He was later appointed as the group Chief Financial Officer of Terengganu Incorporated Sdn Bhd before leaving the group in early 2020 to take up advisory roles with the Terengganu State’s GLCS.

Amongst his current positions are as the Independent Non-executive Director, Tabung Haji Plantations Berhad and a Non-independent Non-Executive Director of Golden Pharos Berhad.
